Winnetka Davis

Winnetka D. Davis is a graduate of Luther Burbank High School, Sacramento. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Ashford University, San Diego.

Sis. Davis accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of 12, at the Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. G.C. Northern. In 2007, she joined the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Sacramento under the leadership of Dr. Bryant C. Wyatt. There she is a faithful member serving in several different capacities. She is the Junior Women Ministry Chair, 3rd Vice-Chair of the General Mission, Assistant Youth Director and Vice-Chair of the Event’s Ministry. She sings in the Sanctuary and Young Adult choirs, regularly attends Sunday School and bible study, and is faithfully on the daily 6 a.m. prayer conference call. She finds joy in working with the youth, and spends most of her time planning their events and keeping them active within the church.

Along with serving as the California Missionary Baptist State Convention Junior Women President, Sis. Davis serves as the 2nd Vice-President of the Junior Women Auxiliary in the St. John Missionary Baptist District Association.

She has been blessed with four beautiful children; Cameron (17), Haven (15), Peyton (10) and Ryan (9). They are her pride and joy, and keep her grounded.

Sis. Davis loves the Lord with all her heart. He is the head of her life and she strives daily to do that which she has been called upon to do. Her motto: “Working towards my reward.” Colossians 3:22-24
